Helping employers and contractors to reach a satisfactory solution to disputes, problems and/or tensions during the building process, as well as project managing construction jobs from start to finish.
Norville Brice provide Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services to businesses and individuals, as well as construction project management. Headed by James Brice, who has 20 years experience in the construction industry and prior 10 years in engineering/manufacturing.
The construction experience, from hands on organising of all types and sizes of project, when tied together with being a qualified engineer (BEng hons), project manager (RIBA & Prince2) and corporate mediator (RICS) all put James in a great position to assist employers and contractors alike in resolving their disputes as a knowledgeable and impartial 3rd party.

One area we are looking at developing is bringing a more professional approach to Dispute Resolution for the private sector where home owners are entering into contracts with
contractors/builders. This sector is rife with disputes with very little in place to help resolve.
these issues without ending up in court.

What we can offer is:

· Liaise between the employer and contractor – solve issues before they become problems, adding the face of reason and technical knowledge.

· Project manage jobs – we can step into a job and take on all aspects of management to help see it through to a satisfactory completion.

· Report on value of work to-date for either party to assist and also negotiate financial settlements.
​
· Mediation – perform professional impartial mediation.
We are hoping to be able to offer a hybrid Mediation/Adjudication system, whereby if both parties struggle to come up with an agreeable solution during mediation, the case can be transferred to an adjudication where a decision on technical and legal merit will be made for the parties.
