Condemned Property - Dispute
Property in Dispute..
Home owner was left with a property structurally unsound, many jobs were totally wrong and half finished:
-
Beams not supported correctly
-
Steel beams sticking through external walls
-
Beam set higher then floor level
-
Roof heights not the same!
-
Site a complete mess
-
Brick work very bad with lots of cement staining and internal block work not fit for purpose.

Timber floor and roof joists cut too short!
-
the list was much longer than this....

On this job the only cause of action was to take full control and get the project back on track. Broken down to 2 stages:

1. Fix all structural problems and complete the structure and roof.
2. Second fix and finish the project as originally intended (well probably better)
​
Obviously after a bad start with previous contractors the clients were eventually very happy with the house..
​
Its not always the case as above and with some mediation and direction the original contractors can and do continue to work with the clients.
